Ideas for redevelopment

The volunteers that form Cherry Burton Village Hall committee are concerned that the present hall is not offering access and facilities that are in keeping with today’s needs. They would like to see an upgrade to a more inclusive venue that would significantly improve access for all and bring the existing facilities in line with modern standards. 

Whilst the main hall itself is in good shape, we have sought advice as to how we could make much needed improvements in the most economical way to other areas, that the village can be proud of for the foreseeable future. The plans you see below represent our collective wishes BUT the estimated cost of such changes are significant, and unlikely to be funded from a single grant, so our mission is to seek several avenues of income, which may mean that the proposals are done in stages. 

Please note these are initial proposals only, there have been no requests for planning, or consultation with the authorities as we will firstly need the support of the village!
